"With these views, it doesn't need to be anything else"

Clacier Alpine Kitchen is located inside the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat which is the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps. The 3,100 metres above sea level and across the famous "Toblerone" mountain peak situations, are more impressive than anything else in this highly touristic winter venue.

On the day of the visit, a Monday lunch in October 24, we tried the stuffed blin, which was pasta with cheese sauce, the pork belly and snitzel from the kids' menu. The food quality was average with the pork crackling being extremely hard to chew while the pasta was quite heavy, though freshly made.

Keep in mind that a large bottle of water was priced approximately €10, chich tops even 3* restaurants!

Service was OK.
