An exceptional vegetarian restaurant, The Omnia is located in the heart of Zermatt. It has an easily accessible elevator which lifts guests to its level inside the same name hotel. The Omnia is mentioned in the Michelin guide and is certainly up to that level of those standards and even more.
On the day of the visit, a Wednesday dinner service, in October 24, there were appoximately 8 guests. The space is huge and quite modern, even by Scandinavian standards, so it felt a bit cold and empty. The menu is based on vegetarian dishes and from there you can suplement them with a meat or fish if you want. Given that this is an expensive situation, a Michelin restaurant in Zermatt, adding a supplement can elevate pricing to €80 per dish. However, after our dinner, we really thought that it was unnesesary to have the supplements. The vegetarian dishes were more than enough. The highlights of the menu was the Miso mushroom soup and the Cauliflower which we loved...
