Review written 10/2021. The local restaurant Le Clos St-Basile mentioned in the Michelin guide, is located about an hour's drive from the Eze area.
On the day of the visit we couldn't have the long degustations because we arrived 10 minutes later that the last serving time (1.15"). Which was disappointing. But we could have the short on with 3 courses. Which wasn't disappointing at all. It was reasonably priced at €45.
It included tuna tartar, shrimps for starters and for mains beef with chickpeas and snails. Snails we didn't love their sauce but the rest of the menu had a very good taste, was properly prepared, and the ingredients were all fresh, The highlight of the menu was the dessert. The Tiramisu. It was amazing. We also ordered an extra foie gras. Great decision. We still remember it.
Service came with a bit of an attitude compared to Michelin star restaurants...
