Alain Llorca is a Michelin star restaurant in the village of Saint-Paul de Vence.
It took us a while to find this restaurant since it is situated a little further on the main street than where the GPS shows. But when we did the valet took care of our car which was a relief since it was a rainy day.
There is the luxurious inside setting and the terrace which overlooks the old city on the hillside across, and has beautiful views of the Provence.
From the welcoming amuse bouche, the Lobster bisque on top of a set chicken liver pate was trully sensational. And so was everything else on the chef's menu (3-courses €90, 4-courses €120) including the squid and the deer. Service was professional and attentive, although it was a very busy Sunday lunch.
The man, himself, came to greed his guests after service which is a lovely thing to do for us star-struck traveling foodies...
