Lambert is another case of "don't judge a book by its cover" kind of restaurant! With its commercial outdoor tint, it looks like every other tourist cafeteria near the city's cultural center. Contrary, this popular venue serves star level food at low prices. Although most restaurants at this price range focus on taste and not on details, presentation at Llamber is also equally important with taste.
The premises are long shaped with earthy brick and wood decor and an open kitchen. At night, dozens of candles were led, which made for an utterly inviting and romantic ambience!
During our visit, which was a Tuesday 6'o clock early dinner, we had for starters half portions of Tuna, Mackerel, terrine of Foie and for mains the Black pudding with squid and the Lamb. Adventurous combinations of flavours, excellent preparations and the freshest ingredients, all presented beautifully with care!
Service was effective and friendly.
