In the highly touristic area of Santa Margherita Ligure near Portofino, it is difficult to find non-touristic venues. L’Insolita Zuppa appears to be one as it seems to be preferred by Italians and locals.
On the day of the visit we had the salad, linguini with shrimp (tiny), a salty ravioli dish with tomato sauce and a kind of dull, fish of the day, propably hamper jack baked in the oven in paper. Other dishes which seemed to be more interesting than our choices were the slowly cooked salmon, the ribs and the tuna. And this side dish which we couldn't identify!
Service was very friendly.
