It is located right in the heart of the Portofino harbor. With a million dollar view and a traditional Italian fish tavern aura, Puny is favored by tourists. The owner was present making sure that everything was taken care of at his restaurant which goes back a long time with quite a history.
Our waiter who spoke Italian, French and English flawless, suggested that we ate Parpadelle with pesto and tomato sauce, all made fresh on the day. He also suggested sea bream baked in salt. His choices were spot on! Delicious and fresh. We asked for some extra parmesan and lemon and he commented in his Italian tone and accent that we should try it first as it was and not spoil “da balance of da foode”!
It was a highly enjoyable and relaxing meal, with a great white DOCG wine...
