"Still priced on the expensive side but it is Portofino!"

2019 Update

We were back for a second round at O Magazin, 8 years later. Some changes in regards to the decor were made, as expected.

The menu was different as well, and we had shrimp tartar, fish in the oven and fried squid & small fish which were all OK. Still priced on the expensive side but it is Portofino where you pay for air!

If we have to talk about service, we asked for some lemon but we were told there was inside the food and we should try it.

The gellateria next door seemed different but we did not try it.

2011 First Visit

When I first heard of the name, I thought Oprah would get a kick out of this one. But no, it has nothing to do with her. O Magazin is a small local restaurant, slightly upscale priced, at the left side of the famous Portofino harbor...
