With the blessings of Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsey, Scotland's most famous chef is undoubtedly Martin Wishart. His eponymous restaurant in Edinburgh, is the city's pride and joy, a most acclaimed dining venue, commanding propably a second star.
On the day of the visit, service was excellent, the food was beautifully presented and the atmosphere was elegant and chic. Taste was a blend of traditional and modern French cooking, using local (Scottish) ingredients. The desserts were divine, both in presentation and taste.
Pricing was reasonable and well justified.
