Situated on a road next to the lake, La Veranda is a quite populat casual venue, within a 3* hotel. It is mentioned in the Michelin catalogue.
On the night of the visit, a Thursday night in Nov 23, the restaurant was fully packed with tourists and locals.
We tried the Perk with risotto which has a minimum order of two, the pasta with Sea Urchin, the Sea Bass in paper, and a fried Lake fish. The food was professionally prepared and the ingredients as fresh as they get. However, the risotto double order was too much, and the lake fish was deep fried with bones, though we understood that it did not have bones when we ordered it. Next time, yes there will be a next time because this is not just a tourist restaurant but an authentic Italian experience, we would love to also try the spicy tomato pasta with bacon or the meat ravioli. Desserts, Tiramisu and Caramel were amazing.
Pricing was also high value for money. Even wine was priced very reasonably...
