The formal Restaurant Veranda is located inside the legendary Villa d' Este hotel and requires formal clothes. During off season Veranda has two sections, accommodating both those who prefer casual or formal dining.
On the day of the visit, service could have been more attentive as there were many mistakes particularly at the restaurant and upon arriving. Specifically, when we arrived and tried to figure out where to park the car, 4 people who worked there seemed busy chatting instead of helping us with direction. It wasn't until they saw us going back and forth, that someone decided to come help. There were some issues during dinner service, not appropriate for the hotel's status and prices...
