Situated in a main street, Shucks is a Michelin mention contemporary spot specialising in fish.
On the day of the visit, a Saturday lunch in June 23, we tried many dishes from the daily and a la carte menu including the lobster, scallops, oysters, sole, kingfish carpaccio and the famous Koffman fries x2. There were several attempts for that extra depth in flavour and lots of spicy cooking going on. Note that some fish is served on the bone which might be an issue for kids.
We loved every single dish which was priced moderately for UK standards. The fish was so fresh and properly cooked we would return for more anytime!
Service was adequate and friendly.
