Traditional to the bone, Zum Weissen Rauchfangkehrer serves local dishes without surprises. It is quite popular among tourists, being mentioned in the Michelin catalogue.
There is also the option of live piano music if you choose to dine in the piano room, with a small additional charge.
On the night of the visit, which was a Sunday night, February 23, it was very busy, even though it is a rather large dining area with different sections. It has an a la carte menu with a good array of items, priced between €15-€30. We had the snitzel, the glazed pork, the tagliatelle and the beef tartar. All of them properly prepared with the tartar and snitzel being our favourites.
Service was adequate with the young waiters and waitresses wearing traditional costumes.
