There were a lot of things which could have gone wrong with our 6 o'clock reservation at Bar Canete, considering it was 6.30 when we arrived. Thankfully, they didn't. Everything surpassed our expectations.
We had Tuna Tartar, fresh Razor Clams, lobster coquettes, an expensive little plate of Jammon, Ox Tail, Sweetbreads and Steak with Foie. All of them were perfectly prepared, left us wanting more. Desserts were great as well, a Tiramisu, a chocolate cake and a toffee caramel.
Service was professional yet friendly and appropriately loud! We counted more than a dozen chefs and waiters behind the long bar of this small venue, which would explain its high quality.
Reasonably priced (with the exception of the 24€ Jammon) this was a high value meal...
