We visited the traditional, Michelin restaurant, Sissy in Merano in December 23. It was a full house being serviced by 3 efficient waiters.
We ordered a la carte because due to language barriers with the owner, we did not manage to understand the menu offered for the small dishes. We tried foie gras terrine, beef tataki, shrimp with potato foam and veal. All the dishes were properly prepared and the ingredients seemed fresh. They could benefit from some refinement and attention to detail nevertheless for Michelin standards.
The premises and decoration were reminiscent of the 80s - 90s, Italian ambience.
