Tacked away in a wonderful private 10 acre forest, Da Vitorio is a family business. It is also a 10 luxury room hotel and this year (2016) it celebrates its 50th anniversary. Nowadays it is being run by the next generation of the Cerea family including the 2 young chefs Enrico and Roberto. During our visit we were personally greeted by at least three members of the family in what seemed to be a display of gratitude and cordiality. All of them were very friendly and happy for our visit.
On the day of the visit, the Friday service was half of the establishment's capacity. We opted for a traditional €80 dish themed "Mushrooms" and 2 business lunches priced at €80 each. The rest of the menu options were a lot more expensive. The mushrooms were presented in a sloppy way in a pan, but tasted amazing. The 'economic' lunch included cuttlefish, fish and pasta which seem to be on the lower end of the budget...
