Set in an urban setting, Silver Pot is a tiny diner in Nicosia where you can grab lunch (only opens till 6). The theme is homemade and healthy, thus do not be discouraged by the lack of salt in the food. It’s for your own good! The Silver Pot menu changes daily but choices are quite limited.
Though decorated beautifully, the premises of Silver Pot are quite narrow for 14 diners, but I suppose some enjoy the compactness as it reminds them of big town hotspots in other countries. On the downside, we were asked twice if we had finished our lunch when our plates where obviously half empty because the place was packed and they probably needed the chairs. Unnecessary.
On the day of our visit, we had Thai curry chicken with rice, Broccoli and blue cheese Soup and Cherry tomato Quiche. The Thai curry was spicy but very tasteful with pistachio bits creating an interesting texture. Portion was generous though prized on the expensive site. €10...
