At this rustic spot, a favorite amongst locals (which is a good thing), they serve traditional, not for tourists tapas. If you are adventurous enough, do ask the man in charge to choose for you & enjoy the ride.
Located on a street vertical to Parallel (the beginning of Parallel), Quimet & Quimet is easy to find. There’s even street parking on the same street.
There are no seats and no reservations of course, and since it is quite popular going early is recommended. Going at 12.00 means you will find a table to stand and rest your tiny tapas plates and most likely you will not be pushed around. It should also give you plenty of space and time to get acquainted with the environment and the food options.
On the day of the visit, we ordered sparkling wine and started with a couple of salmon and foie dishes. Then we left it up to the barman to decide what to bring. He knew everything that was worth trying, so it seemed like a good idea...
