"An emblematic building which symbolizes the nations independence & strength"

The Arc de Triomphe is a French emblematic building which symbolizes the nation's independence and strength. Some people go up to get a nice view of the Champs-Elysees street. Some others risk their lives by jumping in the middle of the street to take a photo of it. Some others just drive around it and ignore it, because they are used to it. The fact is that the Arc de Triomphe is for some reason awe inspiring. Maybe it is the waving, huge French flag, maybe it is its scale or its sculptures... who knows what touches people...
