The magnificent landscape of Le Chateaux d’Agassac in the heart of the ultimate wine region, Margaux, is a good choice on your wine road trip. Although we booked a guided tour, a sweet young girl politely offered the iPod tour, since it was her first day and she was scared (even trembling the poor girl) of making a mistake.
Visiting wineries Tip: In order to organize your wine trips, you need the help of the Tourist Information Center. They have a service organizing wine tours where you can get information about the famous wine roads. You can also book your reservation for guided tours (they do charge €6 for 2 bookings and €12 for 3 / you can’t really do more than 3 tours in one day). You can also do it by phone if you feel like it. Tour cost anywhere between €0-€7 (depending on ipad usage, personal guide, and chateaux policy) and includes the wine. Watch for the time as many chateaux close for lunch around 12-2pm.
