The 15^thcentury palace of the Lords of Gruuthuse, a local rich family, is located next to the Cathedral of Our Lady and is transformed into a museum for lace, tapestries, some paintings, furniture, musical instruments, silverware, pewter, pottery and weapons from the 13^th to the 19^th century. Also, don't forget to check out the fireplace. And check before going if it's open, since a renovation is scheduled for 2013 and keep in mind that everything is labeled in Flemish.
