Lyon’s old city, usually known as Vieux Lyon, is not only the largest Renaissance district of Lyon but also one of Europe’s most extensive Renaissance neighbourhoods. It consists of three diverse sections: Saint Paul, Saint Jean and Saint Georges, all with a different history background.
