"The heart of Bruges is one of the most stunning squares."

The Markt is the heart of the historic city of Bruges. On one side you can see the picturesque and colorful houses with many restaurants, while the dominating Belfry, sits across on the opposite side. The city court with its lions guard the other side and the statue of Jan Breydel and Pieter de Coninck graces the center of this impressive square. The site is beautiful in the day but it has amazing colors at sundown.
