The cozy environment of this small warm place, Marjellchen restaurant, was full of local people on the day of the visit. A friendly and attentive couple of waitresses, one of whom appeared to be the owner, handled service very well.
The deer as a starter was amazing. Could make a meat lover out of everyone. The salmon with honey was also a good choice, properly cooked.
For mains, Marjellchen offered 3 kinds of sausage and a so called cheese meat and pork knuckle, with potatoes and a salad of white cabbage, both delicious and satisfying options. For deserts, tipsy prunes marinated with red wine and brandy, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream were also very interesting. Bill came to a modest €87 for two.
