Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte is all about old school Italian riviera charm.
Situated across the promenade it’s magnificent, historic premises can be a bit noisy from street traffic.
The door was unattended when we arrived and we had to go inside searching for stuff to help us with car and luggage which is not a big deal unless you are paying €500 a night.
On the day of the visit we were given a free upgrade for a side sea view room which was tiny yet Italian chic. That and a complimentary Procecco in the room were very nice add-ons.
